Monsoon season should not be missed at Grand Canyon National Park. Storms roll across the canyon from the south providing quite a show from the North Rim Lodge verandah. Add a burst of late afternoon sun for the special gift of a double rainbow. Hard work to find that pot of gold in the bottom of Grand Canyon, but so worth it.

I am mostly a nature photographer, all things big and small. I started exploring US National Parks in 1977 and 20 years later became a Park Ranger. Spending much of my time outdoors working summers I shoot what I see on a daily basis. Winters I typically travel seeking new adventures and places. Because I live in a RV, I take home with me.
