After driving south an hour further than I should have to catch sunset in Death Valley I turned around and made it back to Badwater in time to catch the last rays light up the calico colors on the Amargosa Range.

I am mostly a nature photographer, all things big and small. I started exploring US National Parks in 1977 and 20 years later became a Park Ranger.
