As a nepholographer I watch the sky for interesting clouds to photograph. The Weaver Mountains in central Arizona separate the desert from high chaparral and create their own weather. This seven-shot panorama captures the power of an approaching January storm.
About Gaelyn Olmsted
I am mostly a nature photographer, all things big and small. I started exploring US National Parks in 1977 and 20 years later became a Park Ranger. Spending much of my time outdoors working summers I shoot what I see on a daily basis. Winters I typically travel seeking new adventures and places. Because I live in a RV, I take home with me.
